Overlook can be entered from several directions, allowing children to choose how they want their adventure to begin.

The net traverse wall extends climbing along the outside of the playground. Children can move sideways, climb higher, reverse direction or find their own way through the ropes. Its open configuration allows several children to share the wall, pass one another and create different routes across.

The scramble net offers another flexible ascent. Children must coordinate their hands and feet, adjust their balance as the ropes respond to movement and decide which openings will carry them toward the platform.

For a more direct route, the vertical climber provides a steeper ascent to the elevated deck. Children climb rung by rung before using the handrails to transition safely onto the tower.

Between the two towers, the net traverse link becomes the center of the adventure. Children can travel from one platform to the other, move along the lower sections or enter the net from ground level. The changing height and flexible surface invite children to climb, traverse, duck through openings and adjust their route as others move around them.

Because the link is open and accessible from several points, children do not have to experience it in one prescribed way. One child may use it as a bridge between the towers, while another treats it as a climbing wall or shared net play space.

The two elevated platforms provide natural gathering places within the activity. Children can pause, look out across the playground, meet friends arriving from another route and decide where they want to go next.

The plastic tube slide offers a long, enclosed ride back to the ground, while the open stainless steel slide creates a more traditional sliding experience. From the neighboring tower, the fireman’s pole provides a quicker and more adventurous descent that calls for grip and body control.

With several entrances, a shared crossing and two very different ways down, Overlook creates an open-ended play loop children can travel each time differently.

Overlook has the character of two woodland lookouts connected by an open climbing passage. Its timber towers provide height and visual presence, while the nets allow the surrounding landscape to remain visible through and around the structure.

Sustainably sourced laminated timber gives Overlook its natural warmth, grain and texture. Carefully selected color on the slide, panels and metal details adds energy and visual interest for children without overpowering the wood. The result feels playful and inviting while blending comfortably into parks, schoolyards and natural landscapes.

Optional timber roofs strengthen the appearance of sheltered woodland lookouts and give each tower a clear identity. Without the roofs, Overlook has a lighter, more open profile with clear sightlines across the playground.

Paint-free construction allows the natural appearance of the timber to remain visible while reducing ongoing maintenance. A 20-year warranty backs the laminated timber poles.
